Trip to Minneapolis

Here are some pics from our trip to Minneapolis. We met Janice and Scott and the kids there and we had a great time! The kids had a really good time and were very happy that they each had a buddy! First ride of the day: The Wave. It was sooo hot so everyone wanted to hit a water ride first. Austin and Kyle are in the front, Kailyn, Kira and Scott are right behind them.....soaked! This sure cooled them off!

We stopped by the foam ball factory and there was a show going on outside. They sang the twist and wanted kids to come up to hula hoop......so here is Kailyn making hula hooping look easy!

Muggles came over to say hi to Jackson.......there was no way Jackson was shaking his hand!

After a few hours at the park the girls (and everyone else) were getting hot. Kailyn was really feeling the effects of the sun so we took the kids to the water park. They lounged for a bit to cool off!

They felt much better after some time in the water so we headed over to the ol' favourite Mild Thing roller coaster. I didn't get any pictures of Kailyn in her first BIG coaster......she went on the Corkscrew, which goes upside down many times!

The next day we headed to Mall of America to do some shopping and to visit the underground aquarium. It was really cool!

Wow......what a busy trip! Now throw in just a little bit of shopping (right Dan and Scott....we didn't drag you guys through too many stores did we?? ha ha!) and that was our trip. Thank you so much Scott, Jan, Kyle, Kira and Emma! We had a very fun vacation with you all! Let's do it again......how about in February?! Say somewhere warmer maybe?
