Day 6 - Daytona Beach

Today we took a break from the hustle of the theme parks and took a trip to Daytona Beach. We stopped to take a look at the Daytona Speedway and then drove on down to the beach to let the kids play in the ocean. Austin and Kyle had a blast jumping in the waves. Kailyn and Kira collected shells. Emma and Jackson were not quite sure about the wet sand, the cold water and the wind. There was a weather warning for the area and we ended up getting a thunderstorm. Emma went to play in the dry sand for a bit and then Jackson warmed up to the idea that he could run on the beach and then there was no stopping him! It was also Scott's BIG birthday today so we were happy to celebrate that with him! Hope you had a great day Scottie! Love ya!
