Trip to the Lake

We headed out to the lake today to spend the day with Dan's sister and family and parents. It turned out to be a gorgeous day! Check out the events! You can click on the pics to make them bigger....

This is Uncle Mike. Getting supper cleaned up. He just wanted me to take a pic so he could show off his shirt. No comment from me. That's Uncle Mike. :-)

As soon as we arrived, Jackson found his traditional spot on the beach and proceeded to shovel the dirt and water......for hours! The girls went out on the paddle boat in search of turtles.....then they came back to jump on the trampoline with Jordan.

Then it was off for a ride on the pontoon boat. Anyone want to know how to get 5 cousins to sit close enough together to get a picture? Put chips and dip on a table and they all come running! Then we stopped so Kailyn, Danielle and Jordan could jump off the boat for a swim.....Austin and Jackson were content to watch!

Then it was time to go tubing............so Kailyn was not sure about going.....so of course I open my mouth and say "I'll go if you go!"

Kailyn, Me and Danielle, getting prepared to go. I had to give Kailyn a little pep talk.....she wasn't so sure about this whole idea. Auntie Kathy was scheming with the boat crew......I knew we were in for it.

Started out great....water was nice.....we were enjoying the speed and adrenaline of skimming over the water.........then....

Kailyn and I enjoyed the water a little more when we went flying through the air and landed not so gracefully.

Then it was Danielle's turn to go flying!

Then Kailyn had enough so I went again with Jordan and Danielle. Jordan was tucked safely under my arm.....and Danielle ended up flying a few more times!! Jordan and I rocked the saucer! We rule!! Mike tried to get us to go flying, and we were close a few times! My arms will be paying for that brief moment of thinking I was young again! Thanks Mike......try again next time!!
